DEFINITIONS:

General Sessions (7): Corporate worship where the Convention Theme is unpacked and explored as an inspirational presentation.  A Spiritual Activity is also built into every General Session gathering.

Forums (2):  Topical discussions led by Chaplains that are relevant to campus, broader cultural trends, and young adult ministries.

Wellness Activity (2) : Physical activity to re-engage all our senses.

Ministry Breakouts (2): Time set aside to breakout into specialty areas for peer to peer brainstorming, networking, and problem solving.

Campus Application Discussions (2): Chaplains meet with their own campus teams to assess learning objectives, pray, bond, hold hands, kumbaya, coffee/Postum, etc.

Spiritual Activities (6): Collectively engaging in various biblical spiritual practices or disciplines.

CM’s Got Talent (1): An evening to enjoy each other’s personal talents on display - to laugh, sing, improv, etc. Come prepared to share with the group!

Panel Discussion (1): A panel of chaplains open to students to ask questions across the spectrum of church, faith, and any of the topics covered during CM convention.

Service Recognition (1): Once a year, Campus Ministries Convention affords us a special opportunity to recognize the ministry of our Chaplains who have served on their campuses for five, ten, fifteen, etc. years with humble sentiments and a gift of affirmation.
